Sorry for the irregularity

And sorry for the dumb post title. I was doing a rather big download, and couldn't be bothered with updating a blog which no one reads. I checked up on the net and found that some "new" screenshots are out - the Assassin's Creed II Black Edition preview was revealed, turning out to be much like I had predicted. Also, Eurogamer released new screens and art from God of War III, causing me some deja vu - some earlier post in this blog, perhaps?

I'll be back with the GUESSING soon.

P.S. - Oh no!! Croc has the box of Titan!

Darworks Project - Baddies

Here are the baddies from the secret Darkworks project. Info(and more art) on the project later.

Larger verions available on request.
-The Game Guesser

Works at Darkworks

Ubisoft have been really secretive about their upcoming game, I Am Alive. Its ex-developer, Darkworks, who have also made Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare and Cold Fear, are now seemingly not at work. Or are they? I've known about their upcoming (and yet unrevealed) project for about 10 months now, and I've decided to let some artwork out.

Larger size available on request.
Interested already, eh?

Baddies(and scenes) later - I can't let them spoil the post introducing our sweet heroine.

GTA 5 titbit

There will be more of these coming, I promise. I was wondering- GTA is such a big franchise for Rockstar, they would already be one and a half years in the making of GTA V.

I'll see if I can GUESS a screenie.

Assassin's Creed 2 screenshot

Just a screenshot from AC2. Sadly, I'd let it leak without the watermark, so expect it some places else too. More exclusives soon.

Hi-def version available on request.

BTW, you might be knowing about the "Black Edition" that's goinig to be coming out with more goodies. Here's a preview. Expect the image to become public in 2 or 3 days.

Problems

I'm having problems - my house caught fire. Not much damage, though. Don't expect GUESSES for some time. Also, I'll be busy later too, so I think I won't be back till about 40 hours later. How does it matter anyway? Nobody reads this blog at all - Yay!, I guess I can be more direct and revealing now.

Ok, puzzle time! Radon para las vacaciones 2014.

Assassin's Creed 2 Xbox 360 Premium Theme

Here's a look at the Assassin's Creed II premium theme for the Xbox 360. Not a guess, I know, but I have to do SOMETHING to pass my time.

What now?

Don't know what else to write about - maybe it'll Assassin's Creed, or Wii 2. That's Project Cafe, for the uninitiated.

-The Game Guesser

What should I guess?

I'm not sure what to GUESS about. So, I'll ask YOU to ask ME to guess about any game you like. I know that this blog has about......ummm.......0 readers, but I like acting crazy.

I do have GUESSES, but I don't think I should reveal them so quickly - jobs of various developers and publishers are at risk. ;-)

-The Game Guesser

Crysis is back - yeah it is!

Of course we know Crysis is back - as Crysis 2. It will be Crytek's first multi-platform release, and also the first game made on CryEngine 3. How will it look? I did some GUESSING, and made these two pics in MS Paint(really! *wink*).

Larger versions available on request.

NBA Live - better than live transmission

Better than live transmission of the cover, that is. EA had announced that they'll reveal NBA Live 10's cover the day before the 2009 NBA Draft on 25th June. I hope the cover looks something likes this-
He's Dwight Howard, for those unaccostomed with the sport. Doesn't his name rhyme with "early October 2009"?

-The Game Guesser

The NextBox

Microsoft are at work to make the third console in its Xbox game console series. And let me tell you, it's not called Xbox 720 - WAYYY to dumb a name for a console. Release window? My GUESS goes for most likely 2013 or 2014. More info soon.

Yeah yeah, AC3, but when?

I hope I'm not overdosing this blog with Assassin's Creed III - this is the third post about it in this session. In any case, I think I should GUESS about any game I wish. My GUESS would be - ACIII launching in Holidays 2011 OR Holidays 2012.

I expect it to be ready by the former date, but Ubi might opt for the latter if they wish to coincide the games' release with the timeline in the series(2012). Something their management would likely discuss on.

And oh, don't expect 2010 to be assassin-free either. The Brotherhood will be at work....

-The Game Guesser

P.S. - Sorry, this STILL isn't the last post on ACIII, but I'll restrict myself, I promise.

Ubi at work

What could Ubisoft be thinking regarding the Assassin's Creed III timeline? I suppose there might be two or three possibilities here - somewhere between AC and ACII (around the14th century), or maybe the French Revolution(18th century)? Now, what could be the third? Is there a third option, anyway? If I were Ubi, I would ask artists and writers to show some work in all the possible eras and choose what I like.

-The Game Guesser

Spart.......what?

I'd memorised the Halo: Reach storyline(my GUESSED one, that is), and by the time I "Reached" home, I realised I'd already forgotten. That's the problem with not knowing about the games - all I know about the Halo universe is that it's an FPS, set in the fututre, and you play as some "Master Chief". I KNEW I should have written it down!!

Don't worry, I'll GUESS again, but maybe not until next week.

-The Game Guesser

The 3rd Assassin

Ubisoft say that they haven't yet finalised when or where Assassin's Creed III will be set. But I guess the main story has already been decided(and maybe written?). Desmond's story, that is. No matter whose memories he visits in the third installment, it doesn't affect the 2012 storyline. Well, that's what I GUESS. More on this soon.

-The Game Guesser

Need for success

EA are very desperate about resurrecting the Need for Speed franchise, which lost much of its market share to other games like Burnout, PGR, Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport. Which explains why they diversified into 3 titles this year. Sadly, it makes GUESSING their future moves even more difficult. I'll give it a try, though.

-The Game Guesser

Gears, Cogs and Teeth

Ignore the lousy joke in the title. I was wondering if we might see Gears of War 3 by April 2011. Then I'd better begin making some guesses about it.

-The Game Guesser

9th attempt

I GUESS Midway will try to imMortalize itself in Fall 2010.

M>T - sorry teenagers!

So I was learning the alphabet.....K for Kite, L for Lion. M for Midway and Motion captured fatalities!

-The Game Guesser

I could Cry!

Crysis 2 has been confirmed, and everyone knows there will be Crysis 3 - as stated by Crytek. And I GUESS the plot of both games has already been written. I wonder if I could steal a copy from Crytek, or maybe just GUESS it. I think Mr. Yerli wants to release the game in March 2011. I'll GUESS a more accurate date later.

-The Game Guesser

November - SeVeRe overkill

This November's serious overkill for us gamers(in a good way, unless you're short of cash) - Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Assassin's Creed 2, and also WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 mid-November. Wait - this hasn't been stated yet, has it? Oh well, let's wait and see.

-The Game Guesser

Legacy of a Lawyer

Mr. Jack Thompson, be ready for end October 2011.

-The Game Guesser

Hallo!

Or should that be spelt Hello? Or maybe Halo: Reach !? I GUESS it will be a much more "proper" game than ODST, a standalone expansion to Halo 3. But when will the FPS release? 2010, says Microsoft. I don't know why, but the last time I'd sneezed, it sounded like "Halo: Reach", and the time before that "September to November".

I really have to learn to type better - I got from Halo to sneezing. About the release date, I'd expect Microsoft to keep a 3 month window, and aim it somewhere there. Now what could those months be..........??

-The Game Guesser

Max

New details have emerged about Max Payne 3 - but look at that pic in the link - Max looks like....12 years older than MP2!

-The Game Guesser

I hate this job

It's not really a job, but WHY, for God's sake, did Ubi have to say something about ACIII, when I had planned to write about me GUESSING about it. But I won't let them get the better of me. Onto - Extra GUESSING Mode!

So, here's some new stuff from God of War III. A wallpaper and an artwork. It's not all, but I never said I will be revealing everything. I have been assured that they will not be made public for at least a week - that's half a victory for me too, I guess.

Hi-def versions available on request.

DiRTy

Such dirty snow! Reminds me of my domestic cleaner, Codies. The last time I'd seen such snow, I was driving on it.

Woohoo!

-The Game Guesser

Crack down, Blow up

I was just imagining how it would feel to be a cybernetically-enhanced superhero, jumping from rooftop to rooftop - wind running through my hair. As I land in an alley, a huge red monster mutant pops out from a sewage manhole, and I use a rocket launcher to blow it into a bloody mess and marvel at the damaged walls, trash cans and advertisement signs.

Beautiful.

Dollars>Microsoft Points

Microsoft announced at E3 that we'll get to download retail games over Xbox Live. That means big numbers. It'll be like - "Download this game instantly for only 4799 Microsoft points!" Eww. Why not keep it a straight and clear 60?

-The Game Guesser

Oh, my Saint!

We know Saint's Row 3 is in development. Yet, we've received only a single statement regarding it(october 2008). It must have been, like, two-thirds done, I guess. Hmm, I wonder what it could be about, maybe I'll make some guesses in a week or so.

Trying to learn Parkour. Leap climb's so darn tough. It'll take me 3 centuries to learn it!

A Microbe Log

I think I'll switch over to micobe logging - I mean micro-blogging. It's much cooler, and you can reveal secrets while being more myterious. Of course, I don't have secrets - just GUESSES.

I was thinking - are DVDs getting too old? Take the Xbox 360 for example - Forza Motorsport 3, for example. It's shipping in 2 discs. And so might other games - ODST! (That just means - "Oh, Dats So Troublesome!)

Just another day

Yeah, another boring day. No specific GUESSES. Spent Sunday trying to control myself from posting in-game screenshots from Mafia II. Of course, I don't have the game - it was just a dream(or was it? *wink*)- I would have to draw the screenshots in MS Paint.

Gaahh! I'm too bored to even know what to post. I'm actually happy no one's seen this blog yet(at least no one with any interest in gaming), considering how boring it's getting.

I'm pissed off.

Someone found out?

I've just began writing yesterday, no one other than me has seen this page, and yet I feel some companies already know about info leaks. I mean.........not really leaks - all I do is GUESS(*wink*). I was about to post the cover of WWE SVR 2010 here (my own design, of course *wink*), and THQ revealed it a few hours back. Then, I was about to post how awkward I feel knowing .... ahem - GUESSING the ending of Assassin's Creed 2, and its creative director, Patrice Desilets hinted some of that stuff, around 12 hours back. Minerva says, "the rest is up to you, Desmond". Doomsdaaayyy!

But I'm not that worried - I'm just an expert GUESSER(*wink*). Now what should I guess about - Tomb Raider 9? Far Cry 3? Crysis 2? Hitman 5? Max Payne 3? Crackdown 2? Mafia II? Just Cause 2? Or maybe Call of Duty 7(please name it Black Ops, Activision!)? Or maybe a new IP altogether? How about some massive, unannounced sequels?

Not today. Today, I'll go for some recent history - E3. Amazingly, I had GUESSED almost every announcement made in the conferences. Except one game, Left 4 Dead 2. I was never good at GUESSING info about Valve. Yeah, I had GUESSED(*wink*) about Natal, Metal Gear, FF XIV, Crackdown 2 and all the rest.

But publishers and developers need not worry, even if I MAKE UP some amazing, exciting fiction, I won't bore others by typing it up. Just a few small hints(from my stories, of course *wink*) here and there.

-The Game Guesser

P.S. - 11.10.09 sounds cool doesn't it? Sadly, 11.09.10 doesn't sound as cool. But nothing's exact. Somethings especially not - game release dates, for example. It's not viable to predict them one or two years back, as they can change rather quickly. In any case, game release dates have nothing to do with 11.09.10 sounding cool, do they?

Hello!

Hello, everyone! I'm not going to reveal who I am, so I'll get down to business straight away - I GUESS what will happen in the gaming world, and sometimes give my OPINIONS. I don't have any insider info(or do I? *wink*). Also - I'm not GameFork.

I'll begin with some history. On June 22, 2008 (or maybe it was the 23rd), I called my friend while I was watching the just released first trailer of Call of Duty: World at War. I told him, "I don't really fancy this game, but look forward to the next, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which I expect will release around November 10, 2009."

How did I know this? MW2 wasn't announced till December that year, and even then, the info was taken back as "speculation". The official announcement eventually came in Feb 2009. Was I lucky? Luck must have been working overtime to let me know the release date over 9 months before the rest of the world.

I didn't really know anything, though. Just guessing(or was I? *wink*)

Will be back soon.
